Elon is the Richest Man - AGAIN 💰

The billionaire leader board just got a shake-up! Elon Musk, our favorite meme-tweeting, rocket-launching, electric car-driving CEO, is back on top as the world's richest person.

Elon was dethroned from his glitzy #1 spot by none other than LVMH's CEO, Bernard Arnault.

This happened back in December after Tesla shares took a tumble following Musk's $44 billion play-date with Twitter.

Most of the credit for the comeback is due to Elon’s wonder-stock, Tesla.

• (NASDAQ:TSLA) shares have been up 92% since the start of this year.

• The stock got its first major bump when Elon announced a new Twitter CEO which allayed investor fears of Musks diverted attention.

• The second major bump happened just recently after Musk wrapped up a high-profile visit to Shanghai where he signaled a possible expansion in China.

All this has seen Musks’s net worth skyrocket 40.3% this year, hitting $192 billion.

But while Musk's strutting his stuff on top of the world, Arnault isn't exactly selling lemonade on the street corner. He's now in the #2 spot with a not-so-shabby $187 billion.

HP: From Silicon Valley Stardom to Sales Slump 📉

HP, the granddaddy of Silicon Valley, just announced some sales figures that are about as uplifting as a reboot of "The Matrix" without Keanu Reeves.

HP started back in 1939 in a humble garage, which now sports a plaque dubbing it "the birthplace of Silicon Valley." They helped bring the joy of home computers and printers to the masses, and now, they're trying to keep up with the tech revolution they helped ignite.

Here’s a brief look at how their report card looked like in this earnings season exam:

1. Total Revenue: $12.9 Billion (-22%)

2. Personal Systems Sales: $8.2 Billion (-29%)

3. Printing Sales: $4.7 Billion (-5%)

Now, like every other tech company that wants to stay hip and relevant, HP is eyeing AI with heart emojis.

While it's a tough road ahead, there's a glimmer of hope as PC inventories slim down and the back-to-school and holiday season approach.

Will AI be HP's knight in shining armor? Or is it going to need more than an AI Hail Mary to turn things around?
