GitLab is soaring high in the financial cosmos after reporting some seriously stellar Q1 results.
Tuesday had GitLab smiling ear to ear, as their shares took a 31% spacewalk - their best day since their 2021 Nasdaq debut.

The Numbers Don't Lie
GitLab reported revenue of $126.9 million for Q1, thatโs a 45% jump from last year.
Now, we're not math wizards, but we're pretty sure thatโs not pocket change.
While they've been making it rain financially, GitLab decided to crank up the heat and raised the price for its premium tier from $19 to $29 per user per month.
Now, if you think GitLab is stopping there, you're sorely mistaken. They're about to enter the world of generative AI with an add-on of only $9 per user per month.

The Boss is Back and Better
In other news, GitLab's CEO, Sid Sijbrandij, shared that heโs healthy and raring to go after his treatment for osteosarcoma.
The man's not just back at the helm, he's ready to sail this ship to uncharted territories!
Are There Challenges? Sure.
Let's not paint too rosy a picture, though. There are still a few clouds on the horizon. Customers have been buying fewer seats and sales cycles took a tad longer than usual last quarter.
But hey, Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither will be GitLab's empire.
GM Joins Hands with the OG EV King - Tesla ๐ค
Well, well, well, look whoโs joining the Tesla fan club! General Motors (GM) is following in Ford's tire tracks, joining hands with the electric vehicle czar, Tesla, to use its North American charging network and technologies.

Itโs like seeing the high school quarterback finally admit that the nerdy kid's science project is actually really cool.
Here's the 411: GM is going to start installing the same charging ports that Tesla uses, known as NACS (North American Charging Standard), in its EVs starting from 2025.
Currently, the industry standard is the CCS, but it seems like GM and Ford are all aboard the Tesla Express.
Tesla isn't just sharing its charger tech for charity; they'll make a pretty penny from selling energy to these other automakers which is estimated to be $1-$5 Billion annually.
GM is expected to save up to $400 million from a previously announced $750 million investment to build out EV charging.
The wolfs loved the new friendship as they shot up the stock of both companies, sending Teslaโs stock its 2023 high!
Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) was up 5% in after-hours trading.
GM (NYSE:GM) was up 3.77%.

Most importantly, this is a major win for the EV revolution. While most automakers have struggled to build out their own charging networks, Tesla has been building a fortress.

Building telescopes on the Moon is becoming an achievable goal. The Moon is turning into the hottest astronomical hangout, with various missions set to visit by the end of the decade. It's not just a science party, though; lunar exploration offers a prime platform for astronomy, especially radio astronomy, from the Moon's "radio-quiet" far side. ๐๐ญ๐
