Musk’s new Tweet Diet 🐦📉

Everyone’s favourite Elon Musk has been stirring up the Twittersphere yet again. This time, he's decided to play a little game of "how many tweets can you read today?"

His cheeky reason for this? To curb the "EXTREME" levels of data scraping. In other words, he thinks 'people are hogging too much data'! So, under this rule, the new limits are

1. Verified accounts - 10k tweets/day

2. Unverified accounts - 1k tweets/day

3. New Unverified accounts - 500 tweets/day

This sudden Musk move didn't sit well with Twitter's stability. Cue dramatic music - we had an outage! Over 7,300 dismayed Tweeters reported problems, seeing error messages like "Rate limit exceeded" or "Cannot retrieve tweets", making it the latest Twitter hiccup since Musk became the chief bird.

Let’s not forget, Twitter also started gatekeeping non-account holders. Bye-bye reading tweets without an account and say hello to the shiny log-in window!

Anyway, folks, hang in there. The Tweet limit might just be a passing cloud. Or will it be the new normal? Only time (and Musk's tweets) will tell. Till then, tweet on... but, you know, within limits! 😉

Google's AI Goes on a Public Post Joyride: 🤖💬

Google just had a mini Eureka moment and decided to put a whole new spin on "public domain". Every time you post anything online, your words might just be helping Google's AI learn a new trick.

The next time you find Google Translate strangely accurate or get spooked by how eerily intelligent Bard or Cloud AI is, remember you might have had a hand in it!

Google, in its ever-changing privacy policy, now says, "Every word you post, you post for us!" (Of course, we're paraphrasing). It’s all there in black and white, saying our public posts are fair game for Google's AI model training.

What used to be "language models" now reads as "AI models", and the party just got bigger with Bard and Cloud AI. It's kind of like Google expanded its playground from their own backyard to the whole wide web.

But wait, there's more! Your forgotten blog posts, the 15-year-old restaurant reviews, your conspiracy theories from yesteryears could all be coming back to life, albeit in AI gibberish. Google's chatbots could be regurgitating some fancy version of your words in ways that are impossible to predict, as we speak!

So, next time you're about to fire off a tweet or share an internet pearl of wisdom, remember: you might just be whispering into Google's AI ear!
