Samsung’s flirting with Bing 🥰

Alphabet's shares took a 4% hit after a New York Times report revealed Samsung might break up with Google and start dating Microsoft's Bing as the default search engine on its devices. Talk about a tech love triangle!

Losing the Samsung contract means waving goodbye to a sweet $3 billion in annual revenue! And to make matters worse, a $20 billion Apple contract is also up for renewal. Uh-oh! 

Alphabet's stock plunge wiped out nearly $50 billion in market capitalization. Ouch!

Investors worry Google's become a "lazy monopolist" and the recent events have been a serious wake-up call. (Remember the “Bard” Boy who wiped out a $100 billion)

Google's like, "Babe, I can change, I promise!" as it's scrambling to add AI-powered features to Search under a project named Magi.

While the team from Google said that not all decks would lead to a launch (which we already know, dear), here’s a quick list of some options they are looking at:

• GIFI - Image generation in image search results

• Search Along - Chat with access to search side by side

• Tivoli Tutor - Language learning with AI

• Google Earth + AI for mapping and exploration

• Music search by chat

SpaceX hits an Iceberg 🚀🧊

Elon Musk's SpaceX has hit the pause button on launching Starship, the most powerful rocket ever, for at least till April 20th. Why? Well, it seems a frozen pressurant valve decided to play party pooper just minutes before the planned launch.

Standing at a whopping 120m (400ft) high, Starship's aiming to make interplanetary travel as common as hopping on a jet airliner. Imagine going from Earth to Mars like you'd go from New York to Paris! 🌎✈️🚀

Despite the setback, you can bet Nasa's watching closely, as they've given SpaceX nearly $3bn to develop a Starship variant for landing astronauts on the Moon. And who knows, maybe someday we'll all be booking our tickets to Mars! 🌕🚀🌌

So, fingers crossed for a successful launch later this week, and let's hope this rocket doesn't bellyflop into the ocean. 🤞

AI gets it's big Drake over the Weeknd 🎵

We were scrolling through TikTok this weekend and came across a hot new collab between Drake and the Weeknd called "Heart on My Sleeve." We thought “Sweet Man, Sweet!”. Except, it turns out that the Canadian duo had zilch to do with it! 😮 

It's an AI-generated fake by some sneaky artist called Ghostwriter. Talk about living up to your name, right? We’re pretty sure that this is how Drake would have reacted!

The song is taking the internet by storm with 250,000 Spotify streams and 10 million TikTok views.

But it seems like Drake's had enough of this AI tomfoolery, calling it "the final straw" on his Insta story. He's not alone – Jay-Z and Eminem have also faced similar deepfake shenanigans. But the law's all a bit fuzzy when it comes to AI-generated tunes, so the copyright drama continues.

The Ghostwriter hit is still on Spotify, but will it last? Time will tell if AI-generated tunes can keep fooling us or if the law will catch up.

Apple's stepping up its banking game, launching Apple Card savings accounts with a 4.15% interest rate. Seems like Apple is trying to open a whole new business altogether, eh?
