Threads, the talk of the town, has soared past 100 million sign-ups within just 5 days of its launch!

This quick rise has even outpaced OpenAI's ChatGPT, which held the record, securing 100 million users in just under 2 months.

And Threads isn’t even available in the European Union yet — holding back over the region's new privacy laws.

People aren't just signing up, they're posting too. Within a day of the launch, more than 95 million posts had already been shared, generating a staggering 190 million likes.

Zuck has been doing an amazing comeback this year.

1/ Reels have been growing in popularity adding to an additional 24% time spent on Instagram.

2/ Meta has been slowly building up foundations for monetizing WhatsApp, which it bought for $19B in 2014.

3/ (NASDAQ:META) is up 135% this year already.

There is no doubt that Meta is the boss when it comes to earning social media advertising cash. Their ad revenue last year was a mammoth $129 Billion which trumps Twitter’s measly $4.6 Billion.

Inflection AI is revving its engines and is ready to storm the supercomputer industry. How, you ask?

By building a behemoth of a supercomputer packed with not 1, not 2 but a mind-blowing 22,000 NVIDIA H100 GPUs!

That's enough processing power to make HAL 9000 from '2001: A Space Odyssey' feel like a pocket calculator!

Inflection AI is the new kid on the generative AI block that aims to create a “personal AI for everyone” and they’re building an AI-powered assistant called Pi.

Now, getting back to their shiny new supercomputer.

• The supercomputing cluster will be equipped with 22,000 NVIDIA H100 GPUs.

• It will contain 700 racks of Intel Xeon CPUs.

• It’s going to slurp a monstrous 31 Mega-Watts of power.

A new H100 GPU retails for roughly $40,000 these days so if we do some basic math, that makes the GPUs alone worth a staggering $880 million.

We’re wondering the same thing as you. Firstly, how does this company have this much dough and secondly, even if it does, how was it able to grab 22,000 H100s when there’s literally a black market for GPUs.

Well, Inflection recently raised a gargantuan $1.5 billion round valuing them at $4 billion with NVIDIA being one of the key investors.

Guess that answers both the questions.
